Administrative Coordinator, Family Engagement Team Lead
Alice Wertheimer is the Project Coordinator for the National MCH Workforce Development Center, based at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She leads the Center’s Family Engagement Team whose mission is to integrate a family perspective into all aspects of the Center’s work. Alice has directed logistics and events for several MCH-related projects, including the Maternal and Child Health Public Health Leadership Institute and was the longtime Training Coordinator for the UNC-TEACCH Autism Program. A founding member of Extraordinary Ventures, a unique community employment program for adults with autism, Alice has served on boards of directors for a variety of local and state organizations dedicated to families of children with special health care needs.
