Family partners and community members play an essential role in Title V Maternal and Child Health (MCH) programs. MCH professionals engage family partners and community members because their experiences and insights inform and improve the planning, development, and evaluation of programs and policies at the community, organizational, and system levels.
We provide tailored tools and resources to help Title V professionals:
- Identify and refine their engagement goals.
- Support intentional, strategic approaches to engagement.
- Provide practical tools and guidance for engaging with a variety of communities.
In parallel with our support for Title V’s engagement efforts, the National MCH Workforce Development Center values the perspectives of all our partners and actively engages with our own Advisory Committee to strengthen our programs and activities.
