Through training, collaborative learning, coaching, and consultation, we help MCH Title V professionals and their partners tackle complex challenges. Our work with professionals focuses on building capacity in three key areas: change management and adaptive leadership, evidence-based decision making, and systems integration.
Change Management/Adaptive Leadership
Change management and adaptive leadership skills help teams lead and manage change. They focus on engaging people and improving team processes and outcomes.
Transformation requires teams to function at a high level. Our work helps teams connect to their aspirations, make space for key voices and perspectives, encourage learning and innovation, and make better decisions that lead to informed practical solutions.

Evidence-Based Decision Making
Evidence provides the foundation for effective health transformation. Evidence-based decision-making is the intentional use of evidence-based and informed methods to plan and promote systematic uptake of innovations into routine practice to realize improved outcomes.
We offer tools and help Title V professionals develop skills for selecting, designing, delivering, and improving evidence-based interventions.

Systems Integration
Technical workforce skills and evidence-based strategies are not necessarily sufficient to move the needle on maternal and child health outcomes; contextual factors such as challenging political environments, lack of leadership support, funding insufficiency, staff turnover, and historical programs and outcomes can also influence Title V’s ability to have an impact.
Systems thinking and mapping tools provide professionals with opportunities to see their work in the context of the ‘big picture’ and strengthen collaboration within agencies and across sectors.
