Engagement Opportunities

In addition to the options below, we are happy to explore individualized learning opportunities with Title V agencies at any time. Please reach out to us at mchwdc@unc.edu, and we’ll be happy to talk with you.

Learning Journey

Our 10-month Learning Journey experience is designed for state and jurisdictional Title V teams who want to increase their workforce capacity and address a complex health transformation challenge. Applications for this annual program typically open in September.

Single State Engagement

This learning experience is similar to the Learning Journey experience but does not happen with a peer group of other Title V teams. Please reach out to discuss this option for your Title V program.

Title V MCH Internship Program

Each summer, we support teams of MCH students to participate in internships in state and jurisdictional Title V programs. Applications for students typically open in January, and applications for state agencies typically open in the fall.

Our MCH Faculty Development Fellowship Program supports a 2024-2025 cohort of 10 faculty fellows. The program supports mid-career faculty in advancing their MCH work and scholarship in areas including public health education, student mentorship, research, and/or practice partnership development and engagement.
